    Brokerage Operations & International Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    Brokerage & Customs Operations

    • Supervise all import and export clearance processes, ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
    • Oversee the preparation, submission, and management of all customs documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Liaise with regulatory agencies (e.g., Nigeria Customs Service, NAFDAC, SON, and other trade authorities) to ensure seamless cargo clearance.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs codes, tariffs, HS classifications, and changing international trade policies.
    • Ensure timely clearance of express shipments to meet service-level commitments.

    International Sales & Business Growth

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow cross-border shipping, e-commerce logistics, and international delivery volumes.
    • Identify and build partnerships with global couriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile delivery agents.
    • Lead negotiations with international clients, distributors, and partners to secure profitable contracts.
    • Explore new international markets and trade routes that align with the company’s expansion goals.

    • Financial & Performance Management
    • Manage and optimise brokerage and sales budgets to achieve profitability targets.
    • Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, including clearance turnaround time, sales growth, and customer retention.
    • Ensure accurate billing and reconciliation of all brokerage and international sales transactions.
    • Strategic Coordination & Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with domestic operations, finance, IT, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive service delivery across borders.
    • Work with the product and technology teams to enhance international logistics platforms, tracking systems, and data visibility.
    • Represent the company in trade meetings, logistics conferences, and industry partnerships to strengthen brand presence.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain 
    • Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics operations.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international logistics operations.
    • Proven track record in international sales development and revenue generation.
    • Strong understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, HS codes, and international shipping documentation.
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM, logistics management systems, Power BI, or Excel for reporting and analytics.
    • Ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced, high-volume express logistics environment.

    Regional Operations Manager (South-South & South-East)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operational Leadership

    • Oversee end-to-end logistics and delivery operations across all hubs and service centres within the region.
    • Ensure timely and accurate movement of shipments, last-mile deliveries, and reverse logistics.
    • Drive the implementation of operational policies, SOPs, and performance standards.
    • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company objectives and service-level agreements (SLAs).

    Performance & Efficiency Management

    • Track and analyse operational KPIs (e.g., delivery timelines, cost per shipment, vehicle utilisation, and customer satisfaction).
    • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Coordinate with the Fleet, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth inter-departmental operations.

    People & Team Management

    • Lead, coach, and mentor Hub Managers, Fleet Officers, and Operations Supervisors within the region.
    • Monitor staff performance, enforce discipline, and ensure alignment with company culture and goals.
    • Identify training needs and support continuous development for regional teams.

    Financial & Resource Management

    • Manage regional budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation to ensure operational profitability.
    • Review and approve expenditure related to fleet maintenance, fuel, manpower, and infrastructure.
    • Support revenue generation efforts through efficient operational practices and customer retention.

    Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure all operations comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
    • Oversee vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and driver compliance across the region.
    • Manage risk by enforcing safety procedures and incident reporting protocols.

    Reporting & Communication

    • Provide weekly and monthly regional performance reports to the Head of Operations.
    • Liaise with senior management to develop and execute regional growth and expansion strategies.
    • Represent the company in regional stakeholder meetings, customer visits, and operational reviews.
