    Audit Officer

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Officer to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
    • You will help ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct internal audits in line with the annual audit plan
    • Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and identify areas for improvement
    • Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations

    Loan Recovery Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a result-driven and persuasive Loan Recovery Officer to join our team.
    • In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring delinquent accounts, developing effective recovery strategies, and ensuring timely repayment of loans.
    • You will play a key part in maintaining a healthy loan portfolio and minimizing credit losses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Follow up with clients on overdue payments via phone calls, emails, and field visits
    • Negotiate repayment plans and ensure prompt recovery of outstanding loans
    • Monitor repayment trends and identify early warning signs of default
    • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and agreements
    • Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions

    Requirements

    • The Reconciliation Officer is responsible for reconciling bank settlement accounts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
    • This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Reconcile bank settlement accounts with the bank's records, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank settlement accounts, including errors or irregularities.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
    • Utilize financial software and systems to automate reconciliation processes, where possible.
    • Analyze and resolve exceptions identified during the reconciliation process.
    • Prepare and submit reports on reconciliation activities, including exception reports and variance analyses.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including finance, accounting, and operations, to ensure seamless financial transactions.
    • Manage a high volume of bank settlement accounts and reconciliations.

    Performance Metrics

    Educational Requirement

    • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in Reconciliation, Accounting, or Finance preferably in a Microfinance bank or banking environment.
    • Certifications: Professional certifications such as ACCA or ICAN, are an advantage.

    Other Requirements:

    • Financial Software: Proficiency in financial software such as Core banking systems
    • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets using tools like; Excel
    • Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
    • System Integration: Knowledge of system integration and API connectivity.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
