    Communications & Brand Associate

    Role Overview

    • The Communications & Brand Associate supports storytelling, brand expression, and donor-facing communications across BROOT’s work.
    • This is not a social media role. It is a role for someone who can think clearly, write creatively, and translate complex ideas into compelling narratives.
    • You will support campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and advisory engagements through high-quality written and visual communication.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop brochures, donor materials, pitch decks, and case-for-support content
    • Draft donor communications, follow-ups, and stewardship materials
    • Support campaign messaging, ads, and awareness materials
    • Translate strategic ideas into clear, persuasive stories
    • Support proposal writing and client-facing presentations
    • Work with designers and external creatives where required
    • Maintain consistency in tone, message, and brand expression.

    Experience & Background

    • 2 - 5 years of experience in communications, brand, content, consulting communications, or related fields
    • Experience with NGOs, fundraising communications, or impact-driven organisations is an added advantage
    • Comfort working with senior professionals and complex subject matter.

    Critical Skills & Capabilities:

    • Strong storytelling and creative writing skills
    • Excellent command of written English
    • Ability to structure narratives for different audiences
    • Strong visual sensitivity and attention to detail
    • Analytical mindset; able to interpret insights and translate them into stories.

    Partnerships Associate

    Role Overview

    • The Partnerships Associate supports the development and management of strategic partnerships, donor relationships, and fundraising initiatives.
    • This role is for someone who enjoys building relationships, following through, and converting conversations into tangible outcomes.
    • You will work closely with senior leaders on high-impact campaigns and long-term engagements, supporting networking, deal execution, and partnership analytics.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support donor, sponsor, and institutional partnership pipelines
    • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and stakeholder communications
    • Track leads, pledges, commitments, and conversion status
    • Support deal structuring, proposals, and partnership documentation
    • Prepare briefing notes, pitch materials, and partnership decks
    • Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and performance reports
    • Collaborate with communications and delivery teams to ensure alignment.

    Critical Skills & Capabilities

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Confidence in networking, relationship management, and deal support
    • Ability to follow through and close loops
    • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with data, trackers, and reports
    • Structured thinking and strong attention to detail.

    Experience & Background

    • 2–5 years relevant experience in partnerships, business development, fundraising, consulting, NGOs, CSR, or related fields
    • Experience working with NGOs, fundraising initiatives, or impact-driven organisations is an added advantage
    • Comfort engaging senior stakeholders and external partners.
