    Site Lifting Specialist Offshore

    Job Type: Contracts  

    Description

    • Continually liaise with CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards within the company are consistently respected on Sites.
    • Ensures that Company Rules and Procedures (Lifting Management System) regarding handling & lifting operations are well understood and applied by those involved.
    • Advices OML99, OML100 and OML102 RSES on issues pertaining to lifting and handling operations
    • Participates / assists the CPLO into the annual evaluation and review of company approved 3rd Party Lifting Equipment Certifiers list.
    • Constantly liaise with contractors in order to ensure that their lifting equipment and operations are in congruence with company lifting and handling procedure
    • Working with contractors to ensure technically acceptable lifting procedures and other related documentation are prepared in advance of lifting activities.
    • Assists the CPLO during assessment of personnel competence to carry out lifting of handling operations.
    • Review Lifting Operations Plans for all critical lifting or handling operations on Site to be submitted to the final review and approval of the CPLO.
    • Performs, or makes perform by a competent person, toolbox talks prior to the beginning of each working shift or when critical lifts are being carried out.
    • Attends the lifts and carries out post job debriefs in order to ensure assessment of completed jobs.
    • Performs technical inspection and evaluation of cranes and selects lifting equipment proposed for use on sites and projects.
    • Ensure that the SLS Pre-lift Checklist is completed and signed prior to the lifting operation.
    • Ensuring regular site feedback to CPLO.
    • Carry out periodic lifting audits in OML99, OML100 and OML102.
    • Specifying the testing / proof load requirements in accordance with statutory requirements, relevant standards and company rules on consultation with CPLO.
    • Reviewing and signing of all complicated/complex lifting plans and JSA/RA after obtaining approval from CPLO.
    • Does periodic reviews of generic lifting plans.
    • Assists CPLO during assessment of personnel competences involved in lifting & handling operations.
    • Develops and keeps up to date the site on the lifting and handling procedures/instructions.
    • Coaches and mentor personnel involved in lifting and handling operations on site.
    • Liaise with approved 3rd party inspection companies for the Lifting Equipment inspection and certification campaign.
    • Work in conjunction with other lifting team to ensure that lifting equipment and lifting standards are respected in the day to day operations.
    • Participate in JSA of critical lifts and attends all critical lifts carried out within JV offshore.
    • Provides expertise in day to day handling and lifting activities on site, which include: categorizing lifts, hazard identifications and risk assessment, technical review (lifting procedures and organizations),
    • Prepare generic lift plans and carry out its periodic reviews.

    Job Requirements

    • Technical Engineering Degree
    • 3 years verifiable experience in lifting and handling operations
    • Possession of LEEA/NSL up to Level 4
    • Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of all types of lifting equipment and operations within affiliate.
    • Ability to prepare or review lifting engineering calculations and risk assessments.
    • Good knowledge of English

    Premob Coordinator

    Description

    • Receive the request for pre-mob inspection from Entity/User Department
    • Schedules and prioritizes workload of pre-mob inspectors to ensure inspection certificates, documents are reviewed, and pre-mob inspection is performed in a timely manner
    • Send out the pre-mob report to the requesting department, Onne QA/QC (for equipment to be mobilized to offshore locations), and the management (RSES and head of HSE) of the site where the equipment would be utilized.
    • Assign Pre-mob Inspector(s) for pre-mob inspection(s).
    • Liaise with user department to schedule for the inspection • Response to Pre-mobilization inspection queries
    • Track lifting non-conformances reported during Pre-mobilization inspection and communicate subsequent results/information regularly to the parties involved.
    • Lifting representative for lifting operations on site and / or contractor’s crane barges where critical lifting operations are to be carried out.
    • Assists the CPLO during assessment of personnel competence to carry out lifting of handling operations.

    PTS / Air Transport Assistant - NAFBASE

    Description / Responsibilities

    • Operation of Personnel Transportation Solution (PTS) software for logistical planning of personnel travels.
    • Making sure that all the request are filled up with the correct information: Name, Surname, Company, Nationality, Passport No, E-mail Address, Phone Number, purpose of the visit, validity of the medical certificate, HUET and BST, date of departure, destination, Pick-up point, cost code.
    • Entering in PTS the entire request according to the helicopter planning and the payload of each type of helicopter.
    • Entering the personal data sheet if the passenger is not entered in the system.
    • Making sure that the priorities are respected in case of hand over or day trip visit.
    • Ensure the modifications into the system in case of flight delay or lastminute change.
    • Making sure that the manifests are closed when the chopper is leaving the site.
    • Maintain the POB on Site and send a report on daily basis to respective representatives
    • Issue a weekly activity report including KPI and No-show monthly report
    • Operate the PTS system and on weekends / public holidays will assume the duties of the PHC PTS operator
    • Replace the NAF base logistics coordinator during his off-duty days and absences
    • Monitor all helicopter operations and report all anomalies immediately to the NAF Base Logistics Coordinator
    • Assist in keeping accurate records of all helicopter operations.

    Job Requirements

    • Holder of HND or B.Sc in Social Sciences or Humanities
    • Good knowledge of the offshore sites and proximity to each other and NAF base
    • Must be fluent in English language.
    • Minimum of 4 years working experience in similar position (Experience in O and G is an added advantage).
    • Capacity to communicate, to convince and if needed to impose rules and organization,
    • Very Good knowledge of Windows pack-office and PTS (Personnel Transportation Solution).

    Land and Marine Transport Supervisor

    Description

    • Ensure conformity with Group and legislative safety directives and rules pertaining to Company Marine operations
    • Establish and provide Vessel planning in order to cope with operational requirements
    • To schedule, organise, direct and control all day-to-day Marine activities in a safe and efficient manner ensuring added value opportunities are maximised and optimising customer satisfaction.
    • Responsible for accurate completion of all shipping documents and load lists

    • Liaise with suppliers and contractors of bulk cargo for the purpose of loading / unloading of vessels
    • Liaise with Marine Superintendent and Logistics Superintendent regarding Vessels & Marine operations and Vessels planning and unloading/loading operations.
    • Coordinate operations with Drilling, Exploration and Production entities
    • Maintenance of records (Vessel daily report) and statistics to ensure accurate reporting with KPI, these records being used for cost allocation and invoice checking.
    • Ensure that contractors are following and complying with DGEP rules.

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc or HND in Engineering or Management
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in quayside and a suitable general knowledge in Oil Industry Marine Logistics.
    • Fully conversant with the relevant Marine legislation and practices
    • High level of organisational and planning skills
    • Ability to react logically and decisively to constantly changing operational requirements which may have a high cost or safety impact
    • First line supervision and coaching of junior members of staff
    • Possess an up to date knowledge of all developments in Nigerian marine legislation, technical innovations, market developments and performance levels. Keep line management advised and monitor same
    • Good knowledge on transportation of Dangerous Goods by Sea
    • Profile: Teambuilding awareness, leadership, multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, organization, anticipation skills, good command of English and computer literate
    • Should be very conversant with the use of Windows pack-office, with a minimum competency of intermediate level in the use of Microsoft excel.

    NPA Invoice Analyst

    Description

    • Receive and vet NPA Pilotage, INTELS Agency and NPA Stevedoring proforma invoices for the Nigerian affiliate of the company.
    • Create for each invoices the corresponding e-JPC in SAP
    • Ensure the application and respect of the procedures in the invoicing process
    • Create and register e-JPC (electronic job progress certificate) through IMP software in coordination with Cost Control Department and Methods Department
    • Ensure an appropriate filing of all relevant documentation.
    • Prepare NPA (Nigerian Ports Authority) pilotage reports used by the cost controllers for monthly budget and closure activities.
    • Liaise with the vendor when necessary to solve discrepancies and ensure smooth invoicing process.
    • Provide accurate reporting and status of invoices processed on his perimeter on monthly basis.
    • Assist when necessary the Head of Methods in the administration of marine KPIs especially the costs estimation of port calls for vessels.
    • Acquire knowledge of relevant procedures and department in order to be able to address issues and difficulties, when they occur, with the appropriate people and department within the affiliate in relation to NPA invoices.
    • Verify Stevedoring documentation presented by NPA agent and process the invoices accordingly.

    Job Requirements

    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package with at least intermediate level hands-on use of Microsoft Excel.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any social science discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in invoicing.
