    Financial Risk Analyst

    In this role, you’ll be required to support the financial risk management (FRM) team, financial reporting, and credit risk teams with data-driven analysis to help make strategic credit and deposits products decisions.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor performance of the credit portfolio to optimize profitability and reach growth targets
    • Collaborate with the portfolio management team, decision science, product, engineering and treasury teams to propose experiments and policy changes.
    • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify underlying explanations for changes in credit portfolio performance, propose solutions and evaluate expected portfolio impacts.
    • Manage the company’s IFRS 9 ECL models, and computations monthly on tools like SAS and R.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Fluent in SQL and Excel. Proficient in R/Python/SAS, or similar statistical analysis tool, is a plus
    • Previous experience in analytics and/or quantitative modelling, using large datasets

    Business Intelligence Analyst

    You might be a great fit for this role if you are experienced working with multiple teams and various levels of management to understand business needs, elicit requirements, and collaborate on reporting and analytics projects, and you have a background in data warehousing or data analysis with excellent SQL skills

    Responsibilities

    • Use data insights to design potential revenue-generating opportunities
    • Build and manage dynamic dashboards that help to provide key insights to management
    • Perform data extraction, data cleansing and data modelling in Power BI
    • Maintain Microsoft Power BI and provide bespoke reporting support for end-users
    • Build relationships with key business partners and provide feedback on data analysis to guide decision making

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years working experience in data analytics
    • Experience using Microsoft PowerBI to create reports and dashboards

    Collections Manager

    Lead the Collections Team and ensure repayments on assigned overdue and delinquent accounts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set, Manage, develop recommend changes to collections strategies and targets for all products and all stages of delinquencies and buckets, and ensure achievement of agreed cash and impairment targets.
    • Develop, implement and manage daily, weekly and monthly performance and efficiency monitoring tools to enhance individual and team collections performance and efficiencies in line with pre-set targets and provide timely feedback to all teams on improvement areas.
    • Create, test, and implement A:B strategies to boost collections efficiency, including the implementation of Champion/ Challenger strategies.
    • Manage the performance of all technology tools supporting Collections efforts while reporting on improvement opportunities.
    • Manage and report on the efficiency and performance of all partnerships in the collection area while monitoring their adherence to all agreed contractual obligations, including achievement of agreed targets and payments of agreed commercial terms  
    • Ensure adequate capacity model planning is in place to manage the teams workload while ensuring all targets and KPI’s are achieved, daily, weekly and monthly.
    • Demonstrate a high level of persuasiveness & professionalism.
    • Demonstrate a high level of energy, enthusiasm and accountability.
    • Understand, interpret, and ensure the Team conforms with regulatory requirements as regards collections.
    • Lead enhancement, improvement and re-development of the collections tools and ensure adequate coverage.
    • Provide timely collections feedback to Portfolio Risk management, Products, Sales, Marketing and Engineering Teams to improve our lending products market fit.
    • Work closely with Decision Science team to monitor, test report and feedback on various teams/ products/ segments/ strategies performance.
    • Work Closely with Marketing Team to build, test and revise collections calls scripts, SMS & push scripts and all other communications strategies, techniques, tone of voice  etc….
    • Work closely with Portfolio Risk , IT, BI and engineering teams to ensure that all technology tools, supporting collections are always available and follow a continuous process improvement process.
    • Help build the Research Track and Trace function withing Collections and Recovery to support efficiency improvements
    • Should possess strong excel and research skills.

    Requirements

    Academic Qualification(s):           

    • HND or BSc in any relevant field, preferably in mathematics, research or applied sciences.

    Experience:                                   

    • 5+ years of work experience with 2 years in Team/Function / division leadership position

    • Excellent Microsoft office suite experience especially expert skills in Excel
