    Executive Assistant(NYSC Corps Member)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly organised and digitally minded Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the Group General Manager while coordinating and supporting social media and internal communication activities across the Company. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the centre of leadership operations while contributing to the Company’s brand presence and communication output. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day executive support and work closely with the creative team to coordinate content, reporting and engagement activities across major social media platforms.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the Group GM’s diary, schedule, travel arrangements and internal priorities.
    • Prepare meeting briefs, take minutes and track action items with clear follow-up.
    • Handle internal and external correspondence with discretion and professionalism.
    • Organise documents, presentations and reports for leadership/board meetings.
    • Maintain a structured filing system and ensure information is easily accessible.
    • Support the Group General Manager on confidential matters, including people issues and strategic projects.
    • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, prioritising communication and filtering requests where required.
    • Coordinate information flow between the GGM’s office and other departments.
    • Coordinate the social media content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
    • Draft short content posts, memos, captions and summaries based on materials from internal teams.
    • Work closely with the photographer, videographer and graphic team to transform raw materials into content-ready assets.
    • Monitor social media channels, respond to messages professionally and escalate complex enquiries.
    • Stay informed of trends, platform updates and new tools that can improve reach and engagement.
    • Support internal communications such as newsletters, updates and subsidiary memos.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with Project Officers for content sourcing.

    Requirements:

    • Must be a currently serving NYSC Corps Member, posted to Abuja (or finishing NYSC camp)
    • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, Humanities or a related field.
    • Demonstrated interest or exposure in administration, executive support, communications or media-related work (academic, internship or volunteer experience acceptable)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Good organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
    • Basic understanding of social media platforms 
    • Willingness to learn and work with content calendars, internal communications and reporting
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools
    • Professional, proactive, adaptable and able to work closely with senior leadership
