    Director of Sales

    Location: Ado Ekiti, Ekiti

    Job Summary

    • You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the cassava processing unit.
    • This includes overseeing all stages from raw cassava intake and processing to quality control, packaging, and logistics.
    • The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure safety compliance, and maximize productivity and profitability.

    Job Description

    • Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, including channel development (e.g., B2B wholesale, retail, export, direct-to-consumer) to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
    • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, both locally within Nigeria and across West Africa, focusing on high-growth segments.
    • Collaborate with the Finance and Operations teams to establish optimal pricing models, managing margins based on market dynamics, seasonal supply, and operational costs.
    • Develop accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts, contributing directly to the farm's production and financial planning cycles.
    • Mentor, coach, and manage a high-caliber sales team, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with company goals.
    • Set clear, measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the sales team and manage performance against targets, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
    • Foster a strong, accountable, and customer-centric sales culture across the organization.
    • Serve as the executive point of contact for the farm’s most critical clients (e.g., major industrial processors, retail chains, and export partners).
    • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
    • Establish effective mechanisms to gather market intelligence and customer feedback, relaying insights to the Operations and Product Development teams to influence production decisions.
    • Work closely with the Logistics and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery, quality control, and order fulfillment, especially concerning the perishable nature of fresh produce.
    • Implement and manage a robust Sales CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track leads, pipeline activity, and sales performance metrics.
    • Ensure all sales activities, contracts, and export documentation comply with local and international regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master’s degree is highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in Senior Leadership or Director-level role managing large teams and significant revenue targets.
    • A proven track record in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Food & Beverage, or Large-Scale Agribusiness sectors is mandatory.
    • Strong understanding of Profit & Loss management, budgeting, financial forecasting, and managing cost of goods sold (COGS) in a production environment.
    • Exceptional leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage remote sales teams.
    • Superior negotiation, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with CRM software, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Head of Security

    Location: Ado Ekiti, Ekiti

    Job Description
    The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Keep an updated planning of all Security activities, including trainings, patrols and staff hires to keep the Security Department optimally dimensioned with the farm operations.
    • Devise policies and procedures regarding areas such as loss prevention, fraud prevention and privacy.
    • Reviewing existing security measures and updating protocols as deemed fit.
    • Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the farm including daily security operations, identify potential security risks to suggest room for improvements.
    • Fostering a culture of physical security awareness by conducting training sessions and communicating with personnel.
    • Managing, evaluating, and resolving any physical security incidents or breaches within the shortest possible time.
    • Ensuring that the company's security policies comply with local laws and legislations and presenting risk assessments, improved security policies and budget for security programs to management team members.
    • Support the achievement of farm operational targets with a strict minimum number of security incidents and breaches.
    • Organize and supervise the teams of Security Guards, with the assistance of his Security Supervisors, to always ensure a peaceful operation.
    • Keeps a constant working relationship with local law enforcement agencies (Police, Mobile Police, Army, DSS, Civil Defense) to get their full support if the need arises.

    Qualifications
    Relevant Experience:

    • Retired Military / Para Military personnel with at least a B.Sc or HND.
    • Good knowledge and experience (min 5 years) as security operations manager
    • Previous experience in a large scale farm projects and knowledge of local language is an added advantage
    • Excellent knowledge of state and federal information security laws.
    • Proven proficiency in developing physical security protocols and procedures.
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional managerial prowess and the ability to lead a team.
    • A good understanding of safety procedures.
    • Basic IT skills
    • Analytical Skills – Should be able to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and determine the best course of action to for optimum safety.
    • Very strong team leadership skills, and utmost sense of integrity and human respect.

This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, protects farm assets, and promotes operational transparency and accountability.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct periodic internal audits across departments, including finance, procurement, and operations.
    • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
    • Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Prepare and present audit reports to senior management with actionable recommendations.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
    • Support external audits and coordinate audit documentation and responses.
    • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance across all teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA is an advantage).
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in internal auditing, preferably in the agriculture or manufacturing sector.
    • Strong knowledge of risk assessment, internal control frameworks, and compliance standards.
    • Excellent analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting, and audit software tools.
    • High ethical standards, attention to detail, and integrity.
    • Familiarity with the agricultural landscape and regulatory environment in Nigeria.

    Key Account Manager

    • This role ensures that client needs are met, contracts are executed flawlessly, and sales targets are consistently exceeded within the assigned portfolio.

    Job Description

    • Develop and execute detailed annual key account plans, outlining objectives, growth opportunities, sales forecasts, and necessary resources for each major client.
    • Build and maintain deep, multi-level relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., procurement, quality assurance, senior management) within the client organizations.
    • Proactively identify and secure opportunities for increased sales volume, cross-selling new farm products, and deepening Agbeyewa Farms' presence within the account.
    • Lead negotiations for long-term supply agreements, pricing, and volume commitments, collaborating with the Director of Sales and Legal team to maximize profitability.
    • Collaborate closely with the client's procurement team to produce highly accurate and timely demand forecasts, which are essential for the farm's production scheduling.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client quality assurance and operational teams, quickly resolving any issues related to product specification, delivery, or quality control.
    • Coordinate closely with the Farm Operations and Logistics teams to ensure perfect order fulfilment, timely delivery, and compliance with all client-specific packaging and handling requirements.
    • Be directly responsible for key metrics, including revenue targets, customer profitability, retention rate, and contract compliance for the key account portfolio.
    • Maintain all account activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates within the Sales CRM system, providing regular, detailed reports to the Director of Sales.
    • Collect and relay market intelligence and client need to the Product Development and Production teams to inform future crop planning and product innovation.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically managing Key Accounts in the FMCG, Food & Beverage, or B2B Agribusiness sector.
    • Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex, high-value supply contracts and maximizing account profitability.
    • Strong understanding of Profit & Loss drivers at the account level, including margins, discounts, and cost-to-serve.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and advanced Excel for sales analysis and reporting.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
