Job Overview:
The Country Manager will lead the strategic growth, operations, and business development of the company’s Telco aggregator business in Nigeria. The role requires a senior professional with deep industry experience and strong relationships across major telecom operators, financial, government sector, and non-financial sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing partnerships, growing existing business, launching new platforms and solutions, and driving overall
business profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of the Telco aggregator business, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
- Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders across all telecom operators, financial, non-financial, and government institutions in Nigeria.
- Drive the launch and expansion of platforms and value-added service (VAS) solutions in collaboration with Telcos.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market share.
- Formulate and execute country-level business strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Oversee financial performance, ensuring revenue growth, cost optimization, and Profitability.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams for high performance and accountability.
- Represent the company in strategic meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to executive management.
- Work with the Head, Digital Transformation, to drive the aggregator business and partnerships in Nigeria.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a technology-related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications or financial industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management or C-level role.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Deep understanding of telco operations, VAS, financial, non-financial and government institutions and aggregator ecosystems.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and result orientation.

- Track marketing ROI and ensure that all campaigns deliver measurable business Outcomes.
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns across digital and traditional media channels to increase brand awareness and market share.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline(Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of marketing experience in Telecom or FMCG industries.
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing marketing campaigns with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of brand management, digital marketing, and customer engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
