    Loan Officer

    LOCATION: Agbara, Lusada and Badagry, Lagos.

    JOB OBJECTIVE/SUMMARY:

    • Selling loan products effectively.
    • Carry out clients KYC, eligibility and loan appraisal. 
    • To ensure continuous growth and healthy portfolio management.
    • Ensure that set targets are met within allotted time frame

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Marketing of loan product as applicable to role.
    • Interviewing and carrying out of KYC on clients
    • Prepare loan documents for clients to fill.
    • Verify and appraise clients and guarantors’ business. 
    • Submit loan proposal for possible approval Credit committee. 
    • Proper documentation and filing of loan documents
    • Follow up on client repayment.
    • Follow up and monitoring of the loan performance after disbursement.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • Ability to mobilize new clients as relative to target.
    • Number of borrowers relative to target.
    • Volume of loan disbursement and revenue generated relative to target.
    • Portfolio at risk (PAR) >1 day not more not more than 1%
    • Growth in number of borrowers as relative to target.
    • Portfolio growth in relation to target.

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

    Reports to:    Branch Coordinator

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Education:  A good bachelor degree or equivalent.
    • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years post-qualification experience.

    Coordinating Officer

    JOB OBJECTIVE/SUMMARY:  

    • To oversee and coordinate the operations in the branch for effective customer service and business performance.
    • General supervision of the business development/marketing and operations arms of the branch to meet branch set targets.
    • To adhere to high ethical standard and compliance with all regulations and applicable laws
    • Ensure all credit disbursement pass through the organization’s defined processes and procedures to avoid undue exposure of branch credits to loss. 
    • Ensure adequate and timely measures are put in place for remedial and loan recovery actions on delinquent accounts to minimize branch non performing risk assets.  
    • Ensure that all complaints from customers and potential customers are attended to and resolved promptly. 
    • Mobilize all human and material resources of the organisation to meet periodic profit targets. 
    • Ensure Branch delivers efficient and courteous services in line with processes and procedures. 
    • Ensure detail and effective monitoring of vault, cash and bank transactions. 
    • Ensure maintenance of viable relationship with existing and potential customers to satisfy their needs and keeps them delighted, retained and committed to the organisation. 
    • Ensure that clients are aware of any new products introduced by the organization. 
    • Ensure timely and effective resolution of staff and clients’ conflicts, complaints and issues in the branch. 
    • Attend to emerging issues in the branches promptly
    • Responsible for overall planning and inspection of cash operations and approved transactions.
    • Any other task as may be assigned by management from time to time

    • Quality of Loan Portfolio in respect to PAR
    • Client retention ratio
    • Compliance & audit rating
    • Customer Satisfaction rating
    • Percentage performance relative to budget in all operational fronts
