Our Client in the fashion Industry is in need of a Human resource personnel to plan, direct and coordinate human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human capital with regards to staff recruitment, compensation & benefits, personnel policies & regulatory compliance as well as oversee process & procedure management.

Responsibilities

General Human Resource Functions

• Oversee the HR Administrative functions such as: -employee offer letters, employee database, work schedules, employee relations, departmental reports, leave etc.
• Responsible for recruitment of suitable and qualified staff including development of job descriptions and person specifications, ensuring that the right level of staff is available at all times to meet business needs.
• Provide active support in the selection of recruitment agencies which meet the corporate standard (ensure corporate branding in recruitment portals and advertisements).
• Prepare information and input for the salary budget and ensuring compliance to the approved salary budget, focusing on pay for performance and salary benchmarks where available.
• Promotes organizational culture, equality and diversity; ensures appropriate communication to all levels of staff
• Provide counsel and assistance to employees at all levels in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. 

Strategic Human Resource Functions

• Develop HR business plans, maintain, develop and recommend HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to established corporate policies.
• Plan & implement skills gap analysis and uses same to drive training & development programs across all departments.
• Maintain and develop leading edge HR systems and processes to address the effective management of people in relation to performance management, induction, reward and recognition, staff retention, career development, succession planning, competency building/ mapping, compensation /benefit,  in order to maintain competitive advantage
• Lead and manage change within the entire organization by becoming a natural change agent; getting buy-ins from all levels of staff. 

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Administration, or other related field
• At least 3 years’ experience in Human Resource Management
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Oral)
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Computer Skills (Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

One of our client in the health technology industry is in need of a People Operation Manager to oversee all HR functional activities; employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment / employment and labour law compliance.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a self-starter who can enforce work processes and do the following:

• Provide directional leadership in talent optimization and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure all HR records and employee records are maintained properly and up to date.
• Develop training programs that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Manage the recruitment, selection & confirmation, onboarding, and engagement of new hires
• Ensure the processing of employee benefits e.g. overtime allowance, leave allowance, transport allowances, HMO etc
• Regularly review staff salaries and make recommendations for promotions/ upgrades in consultation with unit head.
• Review of standard operating procedures (SOPs), KPIs and policies to verify compliance
• Develop and implement monthly and quarterly departmental goals indicating individual KPI’s and performance plans in line with the overall mission, vision and goals of the organization.
• Develop and monitor annual welfare budget that includes team bonding, special event, birthday celebration, etc.
• Be aware of incidents and occurrences involving the operations' staff on the field.
• Develop and implement a performance management process and policy.
• Identify and prepare suitable employees as possible successors to incumbents in roles - (succession planning)
• Drive a performance management and reward system that will motivate staff and support actualization of the overall business vision
• Investigate and manage employee grievance procedure
• Examine and evaluate an employee's work/behaviour by comparing it with the accepted standards
• Ensure monthly KPI reports are submitted by the supervisors to enhance the quarterly performance appraisal
• Documents the results of the comparison and use the results to provide feedback to the employee to show where improvements are needed and why.

Requirement

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ post-NYSC experience working in this role or a similar role.
• Membership of a relevant professional body; CIPM, PHRi or equivalent
• Up to date knowledge of Labour Law legislation in Nigeria
• A free spirited and highly motivated individual, preferably female.
