    Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and supervise business development executives.
    • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for the team.
    • Identify new markets, partnerships, and strategic opportunities.
    • Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
    • Lead high-value negotiations and contract closures.
    • Build strategic partnerships and alliances to support business expansion.
    • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare business proposals, forecasts, and growth plans for management.
    • Monitor industry trends and recommend new products or service offerings.
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
    • Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and Nigerian regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
    • Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
    • 5–8 years experience in business development or sales, with 2–3 years in a managerial role.

    Business Development Executive

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
    • Promote and sell company products and services to prospective and existing clients.
    • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
    • Support contract negotiations in line with approved company terms.
    • Maintain an up-to-date client database and sales pipeline.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business.
    • Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow up on leads.
    • Gather client feedback and market intelligence for management review.
    • Conduct basic market research on competitors, pricing, and industry trends.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales reports.
    • Support marketing and promotional initiatives as required.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 1– 3 years experience in sales or business development.
