    Beach Master

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Liaising with the area teams on marine logistics matters, and monitors the receipt and dispensation of fuel, water and material at the locations.
    • Ensuring marine equipment availability to the area team at the various locations
    • To ensure and enforce seaworthiness of all crafts operating at the locations listed and hence improves availability of craft at locations.
    • To ensure safe marine and stevedoring operations e.g. - moorings and berthing at the jetties, loading/ unloading of materials.
    • To ensure that SPDC marine HSE MS policies are strictly adhered to at the jetties.
    • To monitor and control areas of avoidable losses due to boat operations e.g. fuel usage, optimal craft utilization etc.
    • Managing fuel handling and accounting.
    • Scheduling / Journey Management of boats in line with operations demands.
    • Keep proper maintenance records of vessels and ensure minimal disruption to production operations.
    • To ensure a high level of discipline of boat crew through professionalism.

    Requirements:

    • Secondary School Leaving Certificate/West African School Certificate
    • Adept at working with enterprise Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Skype, MS Teams); SharePoint, excel and smart phones.
    • Must have either River Master/Quarter Master certification or Efficient deck hand certification or Coxswain or Bosun certification. BOSIET and OSP are mandatory.
    • Must have sea going experience as a Coxswain, Bosun on offshore vessels or Rivers Master/Quarter Master on Inshore vessels or has worked as Beach Master capacity.
    • Must have experience in Behavioral safety and deployment / implementation of IOGP Life Saving Rules.
    • Experience in coaching, mentoring, safety culture change and implementation of the safety Management Systems SMS.

    Senior Logistics Coordinatior & Management Support Services

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate, manage and execute all vehicle contracts ensuring compliance with terms and conditions in collaboration with Lead, Land Transport Contracts
    • Manage contract performance to meet agreed service level.
    • Manage HSE aspects in vehicle contracts to ensure compliance.
    • Drive and implement the journey management system for Land Transport fleet operations.
    • Contribute to the development of Land Transport contract strategy and for the operation of all vehicles/equipment in SPDC (East/West), to ensure contractors complies to set standards in contract and in the Transport Manual
    • Manage own staff and contractor staff for effective service delivery.
    • Manage vehicles availability and utilization.
    • Manage fleet operation and assure integrity of asset.

    Senior Logistics Support Services

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Pursue the goals of no harm to people “Goal Zero’’ and proactively promote Life Saving Rules.
    • Support the implementation of local and global road transport standards {HSSE & SP Control Framework (Road Transport and Lifting & Hoisting Manual requirements for PREMOB), SCIN suites of Lifting and hoisting Control documents and other HSSE Road Transport Manuals}.
    • Conduct verification of compliance of equipment (Civil/Ancillary Equipment, Lifting and Hoisting, & vehicles) in SPDC operations to the standards above, including equipment used in hazardous areas.
    • Support cascade of standards and best practices to primary and secondary logistics staff and contractor staff, especially in Field locations.
    • Support team to drive achievement of Goal Zero in Lifting and Hoisting operations through enforcement of standards and highlighting non-conformances for investigation/remedial actions.
    • Support PREMOB Inspection and Lifting & Hoisting Subject Matter Experts by providing data on compliance level of SPDC and third party owned vehicles/equipment to ensure compliance to Road Transport standards.
    • Maintain databases of active SPDC project and production sites and schedule PREMOB verification.
    • Support customers especially in the Field on PREMOB inspection processes and provide feedback to the Premob SME on challenges/areas of improvement.
    • Provision of Lifting and Hoisting administrative/field support to the lifting and hoisting Discipline.
    • Support Lifting Assurance & Task Verification of Marine Vessels in line with MM33 Guidelines prior to GMAS Approvals
    • Provide Lifting & hoisting remote site field verification & assurance activities as required supporting the Lifting Discipline team.
    • Carry out & report Site Assessments for execution of lifting activity, identifying all Load Factors, Site factors, customer actions, & Site Hazards, prior to execution of lifts.
    • Carry out Lift categorization & applicable Equipment selection prior to completion & review of Lift plans for safe execution.
    • Develop/review Lift plans & support Risk assessment/Controls for safe execution of lifting activity for Routine and Non-Routine Simple Lifts
    • For Non-Routine Complex Lifts, review with LH SME for establishing the plan.
    • Perform the role of Rigging Loft Controller in support of managing the heavy fleet Rigging loft facility, including the periodical inspection and certifications.
    • Establish work and rescue plan for MEWP operations.
    • Carry out compliance controls for forklift operations.
    • Perform PIC Role in safe execution of Non-Routine Complex Lifting operations being performed by Heavy Fleet Team when necessary.
    • Report all operational Learnings, UAUC & Coordinate BI weekly AAR meetings arising from post activity learnings.
    • Provide Operational supervision for other Heavy Fleet Operational Equipment especially during Project & shutdown activities.
    • Provide support during “peer to peer” Facility & Process Reviews for Shell & third-party assets.
    • Supervisors to be available for Recertification of HUET & applicable IADC Certification.
    • Ensure cargo is secured properly on truck as par industry best practices for safe cargo securing for all heavy goods vehicles operation.
