Responsibilities
- The Registrar shall be the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice chancellor for the day to day running of the University.
- He shall also be the Secretary to the Governing Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation
Requirements
- The ideal applicant must possess a minimum of Second Class in Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (B.A /B.Sc )and a Master of Arts/Master of Science, (M.A/M.Sc) from a recognized University with at least 14 years of relevant post graduation experience in University administration or a similar institution, and should not be below the rank of Deputy Registrar.
- Shall be between the ages of 45 - 60 years
- Possession of a higher degree and membership of recognized professional bodies such as CIPM, NIM, and ANUPA will be an advantage.
- The applicant must be a team player with, good leadership qualities to inspire and motivate a crop of administrative officers.
- He/She must command respect, be ready to instill confidence and relate with subordinates.
