    Zonal Sales Manager (Whole Sales and D2R)

    Job Responsibilities:

    • To develop and lead the sales and distribution team in wholesale channel for delivering planned sales business plans, volumes and effective channel plan execution.
    • To continue developing the sales team through training, coaching and mentoring in order to develop their selling skills for effective growth and career development.
    • To implement the regional sales and distribution plans to drive effective direct and indirect coverage in wholesale open market.
    • Oversee the process of collection of account receivables within the agreed credit guidelines and strict adherence to aligned SOP’s.
    • Communicate internally about competitor activities in trade.

    Skills/Competence: 

    • Must have excellent sales and persuasion skills.
    • Good team management skills.
    • Good understanding of sales strategies, team management and trade management
    • Adept at managing sales operations, manage effective target setting and supervise sales team in order to deliver upon the agreed plan.
    • Must have experience in Wholesale Channel management.
    • Must be able to drive sales partner acquisition, retention and oversee business relationships.
    • Ability to Negotiate and manage customer trading terms for large customers and supervise the Area Sales Manager in similar engagement with the rest of the trade
    • Ability to lead and manage and mentor teams.
    • Must have a good verbal and written communication skills
    • Skilled with technology and computer usage.

    Job Specification:

    • Must possess a minimum of HND qualification.
    • Must have a minimum of 7 years work experience in sales.
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in FMCG non-food.
