    Warehouse and Procurement Officer

    Role Summary

    • The Warehouse and Procurement Officer will support end-to-end procurement and warehouse operations to ensure efficient, transparent, and compliant sourcing, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.
    • The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and warehouse best practices.
    • The officer will ensure adherence to company policies, supplier standards, and Good Storage Practice (GSP) to maintain the integrity and availability of all inventory items.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for pharmaceuticals, consumables, and materials.
    • Process purchase orders in line with company procurement policies.
    • Ensure product quality, compliance, and accurate documentation with warehouse and finance teams.
    • Manage inventory by verifying quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates of all stock.
    • Conduct monthly stock counts and maintain optimal stock levels through timely vendor orders.
    • Monitor product expiries and report to the Supply Chain Executive and Officer.
    • Maintain supplier records and assess vendor performance.
    • Uphold Good Storage Practice (GSP) and ensure efficient, compliant warehouse operations.

    Job Specifications

    Educational Qualification:

    • First degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the supply chain or procurement function within a pharmaceutical organization.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/ERP systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong attention to detail and adherence to ethical standards.
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
