Operate and monitor utility systems such as power generation, water treatment, compressed air, heating/cooling, and fuel systems to ensure continuous supply.
Oversee plant operations related to oil and gas processing, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance of equipment.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on utility and process equipment to prevent breakdowns and optimize efficiency.
Respond to operational issues by troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all utility and plant activities.
Maintain accurate operational records and report system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities to supervisors.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
7 years of experience in utilities or plant operations within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial sector
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, Process Safety, or HSE training)
Strong knowledge of utility systems such as power generation, water treatment, compressed air, and fuel supply.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
Competence in operating SCADA or DCS control systems.
Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and process equipment.
Good organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
Experience in preventive maintenance and plant performance monitoring.
