    Treasury Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day to day financial activities, ensuring efficient cash flow management and accurate documentation of transactions.
    • Analyse and interpret financial data to prepare forecasts, including revenue, expenses, and loan estimations.

    • Develop cash management, investment, and risk mitigation strategies to enhance profitability and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
    • Implement financial policies and procedures to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Managing banking relationships with business bankers.
    • Work closely with other departments to provide financial advice on investments, loans and liabilities.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a treasury analyst role or similar position.
    • Proficient in financial management systems and advanced excel skills.
    • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations and best practices.

    Competencies

    • Proficiency in analysing financial data, creating financial models, and interpreting results to support decision-making
    • Ability to manage cash flow, forecast cash inflows and outflows, and implement effective cash management strategies.
    • Understanding of treasury functions such as investment activities, debt management and foreign exchange risk management.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
    • Ability to identify problems, analyse data, and develop effective solutions.
    • Skilled at breaking down complex problems, evaluating alternatives and implementing appropriate actions.
    • High level of accuracy and thoroughness in financial analysis and reporting.
    • Ability to clearly present financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams and building relations with internal and external partners.
    • Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to senior management.
    • Understanding of the organization’s financial goals and how treasury supports overall business objectives.
    • Ability to identify, assess and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
