    Training/Recruitment Officer

    Our Client, a key player in the Finance Industry, is looking to hire a Training/Recruitment Officer that will be responsible for the recruitment, screening, vetting and deployment of security operatives of the Company.

    Compensation: Competitive Salary Package.

    STRATEGIC TASKS 

    • Working with Management to set recruitment criteria
    • Work with operations team to ascertain clients’ security  needs and training requirements
    • Continuous research on training methods and content to suit  clients’ needs 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Recruitment of Operatives
    • Screening, selection and vetting of Operatives
    • Reviewing training curriculum and ensuring security knowledge is imparted
    • Pre-deployment training
    • Post deployment refresher training
    • Record keeping
    • Act as Guards provost and implement disciplinary actions in line with Company policy

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

    • Clients’ satisfaction, contract retention and business referral through existing contracts
    • Rate of Guards Turnover
    • Number of breaches, sanctions and restitution for coverage area
    • Loss prevention efforts and interventions 
    • Performance evaluation by clients
    • Guards disciplinary records

    SKILL & COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

    Core Skills

    • In-depth understanding of the organization’s business
    • Excellent guards management skills
    • Good understanding of security operations
    • Adequate training and guards recruitment abilities.
    • Client relationship skills 
    • Industry knowledge
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills 
    • Basic computer skills
    • Report writing skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
    First degree in a relevant field

    Minimum Experience

    • 3 – 5 year relevant experience in Security Operations 
    • Professional Membership in related field is an added  advantage
