    Training/Recruitment Officer

    Reports To: General Manager/Head of Operations

    Job Summary

    The Training/Recruitment Officer is responsible for recruiting, selecting, and training security personnel to meet the operational needs of the company. This role focuses on ensuring that all security personnel are well-trained, physically fit, and compliant with company policies and industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment

    • Identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions for security personnel.
    • Advertise vacancies on appropriate platforms and manage applications.
    • Screen, interview, and select qualified candidates for various security roles.
    • Conduct background checks, criminal record verifications, and reference checks.
    • Ensure all recruited staff meet the physical and psychological requirements for security duties.
    • Manage the onboarding process for new hires.

    Training & Development

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, including physical fitness, security procedures, customer service, and emergency response.
    • Conduct refresher courses and certifications on an ongoing basis.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and update them as needed.
    • Ensure all security personnel are knowledgeable about the use of security equipment and protocols.
    • Monitor and assess the performance of security personnel post-training.

    Compliance & Standards

    • Ensure all security personnel adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Maintain records of training, certifications, and qualifications for all security staff.
    • Collaborate with management to address compliance gaps or training needs.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Maintain a database of all security personnel and their qualifications.
    • Prepare recruitment and training reports for management.
    • Document all training activities and maintain accurate records of attendance and certifications.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Security Management, or related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in recruitment and training, preferably in the security industry.
    • Knowledge of security operations and protocols.
    • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management software.
    • Physical fitness and the ability to participate in physical training sessions.
    • Certification in security management or training is an added advantage.

    Working Conditions

    • Field and office-based, with frequent travel to sites for training or recruitment purposes.
    • Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed.
