Job Summary

• The Terminal Manager will be responsible for the effective management of the company's terminal operations, ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, safety, revenue protection, and efficient coordination of staff, drivers, passengers, vehicles, and logistics activities.
• The successful candidate will oversee the terminal's operational performance and ensure that company standards and procedures are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Terminal Operations:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the terminal.
• Coordinate vehicle departures, arrivals, passenger movement, boarding, and scheduling.
• Ensure smooth and timely execution of trips and terminal activities.
• Monitor terminal resources and ensure proper utilization.

Customer Service & Passenger Experience:

• Ensure passengers receive professional, timely, and courteous service.
• Handle and resolve passenger complaints and operational concerns.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements where necessary.
• Maintain a positive and professional terminal environment.

Staff & Team Management:

• Supervise terminal staff, drivers, and other operational personnel.
• Allocate duties and ensure adequate staffing for daily operations.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Monitor vehicle and terminal safety conditions and promptly escalate concerns.
• Ensure proper incident reporting and follow-up.
• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective measures.

Revenue & Administrative Control:

• Monitor ticketing, collections, expenses, and other terminal-related financial activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and accountability for terminal transactions.
• Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for Management.
• Monitor terminal performance against agreed targets.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Liaise with the Operations Team, drivers, logistics personnel, and Management.
• Monitor vehicle availability, schedules, and operational challenges.
• Provide timely reports on terminal performance, incidents, customer feedback, and other relevant matters.
• Support Management in implementing operational improvements.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

• Perform other operational duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Business Administration, Transport Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, terminal, fleet, or operations management.
• Strong knowledge of terminal and passenger operations.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational demands.
• Candidates who are already resident in the respective location are preferred, given the operational requirements of the role.
• Male candidates are preferred based on the current operational requirements of the role.
