Technician at Eric Kayser

A fast-growing hospitality company is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, skilled technician who has good knowledge of working with cooling systems to ensure proper installation, maintenance and repair.

Location:         Lagos (Victoria Island)

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Carry out installation, inspection, repairs and maintain refrigerators, air conditioners, ice machines. 
• Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously. 
• Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units. 
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions. 
• Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls. 
• Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors. 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work in places where they are exposed to dust, fumes, noise, toxic materials and high voltage equipment. 
• Ability to work in confined and hot spaces like roofs and crawl ways. 
• Ability to work in adverse weather and may be required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel or stand for long stretches of time. 

QUALIFICATION: Diploma, Training Certificate.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3 years experience obtained in a well-structured organization.
