    Talent Development Manager

    Summary

    • The incumbent will support talent attraction and development process thereby building organizational capabilities for superior performance in the marketplace through effective Resourcing, Learning, Performance, and Talent Management 

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    Recruitment: 

    • Support the recruitment process
    • Participate in the interviews for candidates 
    • Develop onboarding process and continue to improve the process 

    Organisation Effectiveness 

    • Provide advisory support to Line managers regarding organisational effectiveness 
    • Support the HRBP and coach second line manager on competency framework 
    • Educate and guide employees on policies and procedures to ensure compliance 

    Performance Management 

    • Manage the performance management process and ensure transparency 
    • Drive the cascade and alignment of organisational/functional objectives with individual objectives 
    • Drive the annual Performance Management cycle across the organisation and across levels 

    Talent Development 

    • Support the HRBP to drive strategy and policies for identifying, attracting, developing and retaining talent to achieve a high-performance organisation 
    • Develop and maintain the Employer brand to be differentiated as the employer of choice 
    • Support the HRBP during the annual talent review sessions and translate to talent development plans 
    • Assess talent readiness and translate to talent development plans 
    • Support the HRBP to facilitate and deploy succession and retention plans 

    Learning & Development 

    • Implement the plans for staff learning and development in line with organisational objectives 
    • Liaise with other functional managers and facilitate the design of learning solutions tailored to the business needs to raise capabilities and improve business productivity 
    • Ensure maintenance of individual development records 
    • Develop and maintain appropriate systems for measuring staff training and development 
    • Develop annual training plan in conjunction with HRBP 
    • Manage process for ITF compliance 
    • Manage training needs assessment for individual staff and organization in consultation with departmental heads and HRBP 
    • Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies, agencies and providers necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards.
