    Talent Acquisition Officer

    Our Client an E-commerce company is recruiting for the below roles

    Overall Responsibility

    The role holder is responsible for managing all aspects of staff recruitment, talent acquisition and manpower planning. S/he will be responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates. The role holder will also be responsible for the onboarding process and ensure that new employees have a positive experience. The role holder is responsible for implementing the company’s talent management policies as regards hiring, onboarding, manpower planning and succession.

    Description

    • Update company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing
    • Plan the company’s talent acquisition strategy and lead the implementation with hiring managers
    • Research and study to understand recruitment needs and requirements
    • Perform talent acquisition activities such as writing job descriptions, person specification, candidate screening, interviews, recommendation, etc.
    • Communicate interview outcomes to candidates
    • Build an active database/pipeline of candidates
    • Represent the company at events that will aid recruiting
    • Reviews employment applications and background check reports
    • Prepare and send job offers and employment contracts
    • Ensure all paperwork are completed and accurate for new employees
    • Follow up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts
    • Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring that processes are followed, engaging and accurate

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields
    • A minimum of a year working experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
    • Hands on experience with relevant tools and software
    • Good knowledge of labour laws and other relevant regulations
    • Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, procedures and solid working knowledge of recruitment programs
    • Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques including social media recruiting
    • Proven ability to communicate and effectively sell the company’s value proposition
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication, marketing, presentation, interviewing and interpersonal skills
