    Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

    Overview

    • We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain and Logistics Manager on behalf of our client, a leading retail organization in Nigeria.
    • In this confidential role, you will take charge of end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations, requiring strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement innovative supply chain and logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services seamlessly.
    • Ensure optimal inventory management to maintain ideal stock levels.
    • Analyze and optimize logistical procedures to minimize costs while maximizing speed and efficiency.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage agreements with logistics service providers.
    • Monitor logistics to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
    • Implement cutting-edge technologies and processes to elevate supply chain efficiency.
    • Prepare and manage the logistics and supply chain budget effectively.
    • Analyze shipping and delivery data to identify bottlenecks and enhance processes.
    • Ensure compliance with international and local supply chain and logistics regulations.
    • Lead, manage, and develop the supply chain and logistics team.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical, retail and  FMCG sectors.
    • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics management principles.
    • Proven experience in managing logistics, warehouse, and transportation operations.
    • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Proficient in supply chain management software and ERP systems
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
    • ​Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships at all levels of the company and with external partners.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

    • The successful candidate for the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager role will play a crucial part in elevating operational efficiency and customer satisfaction for our client, contributing to the achievement of ambitious growth targets through streamlined supply chain and logistics operations.
