Role Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst will support the smooth flow of materials, inputs, and finished products across the organisation. The role involves analyzing supply chain data, monitoring inventory levels, tracking supplier performance, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen operational reliability. The Analyst will work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure accurate planning and timely decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Monitor inventory levels and assess stock requirements to prevent shortages or excess.
- Track supplier performance and coordinate with procurement on quality, delivery, and cost issues.
- Support demand and supply planning activities using data trends and historical performance.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management review.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across the supply chain.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of purchases, deliveries, stock movements, and costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- 2-3 years experience in supply chain analysis, procurement support, or logistics planning.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, forecasting, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and ERP systems (experience in agribusiness or FMCG is an added advantage).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
