    Store Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • This position is responsible for managing all the loading, unloading, receiving, scanning, sorting, and delivery of products into the company’s store as well as delivery of products to the customers.
    • This position also requires accurate stock taking, report writing and diligent supervision of the store officer, loaders and other store staff that report to the role.
    • This position leads the store operations of the company which can be a fast-paced environment and therefore the holder must be nimble, agile and flexible to meet the challenges they will face.

    Responsibilities

    • Raising of delivery document for customers on Zoho Application
    • Receiving of products from foreign suppliers/local vendors.
    • Ensuring the correctness of received products in compliance with packing list.
    • Prompting the relevant officer to raise Purchase Order of products received.
    • Receiving into inventory, the raised Purchase Order.
    • Overall supervision of daily store activities from beginning to the end of workday.
    • Regular reports writing for management update.
    • Ensures the safe keeping of company products and their records.
    • Receive all the inbound goods cleared from both local and foreign suppliers into store and ensure completeness based on the accompanying waybill and/(or) packing list.
    • Prepare receipt note of goods received into store and submit to Head of Finance for approval and distribution.
    • Prepare delivery note of goods invoiced or sold to customer.
    • Issuance and distribution or retrieval of goods to/from outlets/showrooms from the head office store.
    • Ensure the implementation of Inventory management system.
    • Strong coordination with sales team and user departments.
    • Analysis of ageing stocks, communicating to the management about obsolete stock.
    • Collection of inventory data from outlets and preparation of inventory report.
    • Perform other stock-related duties including packing, weighing and labeling goods where necessary.
    • Inventory re-order advice on stock items low in quantities to pre-empt new order.
    • General oversight and coordination of warehouse activities for store.
    • Other duties as assigned per time.

    Objectives

    • To ensure effective management of the company’s inventory item, safeguard them from theft and pilferages, ensure optimum levels of inventory items are maintained and to coordinate and supervise the activities of other store personnel.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least a relevant certification in store management.
    • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant and progressive experience.
    • Great business communication (including written and verbal) skills.
    • Must be organized and punctual.
    • Ability to lead others and improve their performances through coaching and mentoring.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Presentation skills
    • Good carriage, appearance and professional outlook to work.
    • Deep product knowledge
    • Strong physical fitness and the ability to be on feet and concentrate for long periods of time.
