We seek a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily kitchen operations, assisting the Executive Chef, and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation.
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Collaborate in menu development and costing.
Supervise and train kitchen staff.
Manage inventory control and food ordering.
Conduct regular quality checks on food and beverage items.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess an HND with 4 - 6 years experience.
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Food safety certification.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
