Professional Videographer & Photographer at African Food and Consumable Goods

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Professional Videographer & Photographer to capture high-quality visual content that supports our brand, executive communications, and marketing initiatives. This role requires a creative professional who can take projects from concept to final production with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working closely with top executives, handling confidential assignments, and travelling as needed for content creation and official engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Videography

• Capture premium-quality photos and videos for products, executives, events, campaigns, and brand stories.
• Shoot and edit polished video content, including promotional ads, documentary-style storytelling, and executive features.
• Produce high-quality product photography suitable for websites, e-commerce platforms, banners, and marketing materials.
• Set up and operate professional lighting, studio equipment, and staging to achieve optimal visual results.
• Edit videos with clean transitions, colour grading, sound balance, motion graphics, and branding elements.
• Ensure all visual assets maintain a consistent, professional, and brand-aligned aesthetic.

Executive & Travel-Based Content Creation

• Work directly with top executives to capture behind-the-scenes content, speeches, interviews, and travel activities.
• Travel locally and internationally as required to film key meetings, business tours, events, and brand initiatives.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion while handling high-level content and executive engagements.

Social Media & Digital Content

• Create short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Develop visuals that support marketing goals, seasonal campaigns, and audience growth strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, storytelling formats, editing styles, and trending audio.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm, plan, and execute high-performing digital content.

Content Organization & Delivery

• Organize, label, and manage a structured library of digital assets for long-term use.
• Deliver optimized visuals for websites, Shopify product pages, paid advertising, and social media channels.
• Ensure all files meet platform-specific specifications and performance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in professional videography, photography, and content production.
• Strong ability to shoot, edit, and deliver short-form social media videos.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and colour grading.
• Ability to independently plan, storyboard, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality content.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to work closely with executives and travel as part of the role.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with lifestyle photography and personal branding content.
