This person should understand how the major search engines work and be able to create consistently engaging content about travel and tourism which is relevant enough to generate interest and convert readers into customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop scalable content writing strategies and guidelines for our hotel, flights, and travel business
• Research ideas and facts pertinent to the subject assigned and develop this into fresh, easy-to-understand writing in English that connects with our customers and generates sales interest
• Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories, and social media to entice and engage an audience
• Proofread content for errors or additions and ensure that content is written per guidelines established
• Ensure that web page content is edited properly to increase on-screen readability
• Copy, edit, and proofread content created by other content writers to provide detailed feedback 
• Work with the SEO team to ensure that content is suitable for search engine optimization
• Develop prototypes and storyboards using a multitude of media creation and graphics editing tools

MARKETING

• Participate in campaigns to drive revenue and increase brand visibility
• Constructively respond to clients’ inquiries on all social media platforms
•  Report prospects, activity, and performance and feedback to concerned departments
• Perform other tasks assigned
• Assist in receiving and answering clients’ inquiries
