Job Summary

The Social Media Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring company’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.  S/he will aid in the development of social media plans of action and content, profiling, other related documentation, social media products, engagement drive for all associated platforms through the effective use of social media outlets.

• Clear understanding of existing company platforms and their uniqueness.
• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
• Define most important social media KPIs
• Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the companys’ brands
• Manage and oversee social media content & evelop social media marketing campaigns
• Measure the success of every social media campaign
• Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
• Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
• Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
• Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
• Train others in the team
• Provide constructive feedback
• Adhere to rules and regulations
• Present to Senior Management

Requirement

• 4 years of experience as a Social Media staff or similar role
• Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
• Experience working in social development sector
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Familiarity with web design and publishing
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Great leadership skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• BSc degree in Marketing, Communication or any relevant field
