At Sooyah Bistro, we know that great meals start long before they hit the grill — they begin with great procurement! We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Officer who will ensure that all our branches are stocked with the best-quality ingredients and materials, at the right price and on time.
You’ll lead sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing processes that keep our kitchens running smoothly and our customers smiling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle — from sourcing to purchase to delivery.
Source reliable food suppliers and service vendors to ensure quality and consistency.
Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Track supplier performance (pricing, quality, timeliness) and maintain a preferred supplier list.
Work closely with the Inventory and Kitchen teams to anticipate stock needs and plan timely restocks.
Prepare and review purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, food safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
4–6 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within a restaurant, FMCG, or food production environment.
Proven experience in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and cost management.
Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/procurement software.
High integrity, accountability, and a proactive attitude.
