Senior Investment Analyst at Family Homes Funds

• The Senior Investment Analyst supports the preparation, appraisal, and execution of land and infrastructure investments required to enable FHFL’s housing delivery mandate.
• The role focuses on deploying capital into infrastructure projects that unlock large-scale housing delivery, while ensuring that FHFL’s land assets are structured into bankable, serviced, and infrastructure-enabled developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Structuring

• Develop land and infrastructure investment strategies aligned with FHFL’s delivery objectives.
• Structure financing solutions for site servicing and bulk infrastructure provision.
• Design and implement innovative financing instruments (e.g. blended finance, guarantees, revolving funds) to unlock serviced land supply.

Deal Origination & Closure

• Originate investment opportunities with state governments, developers, and private landowners.
• Support financial due diligence, feasibility analysis, and investment appraisals.
• Negotiate and close infrastructure financing deals in line with FHFL’s risk and return thresholds.
• Coordinate transaction processes from origination to financial close.

Financial Modeling & Risk Management

• Develop robust financial models for land banking, infrastructure financing, and site-servicing investments.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to inform investment decisions.
• Evaluate project bankability and funding structures, including public-private partnership (PPP) frameworks where applicable.

Stakeholder & Government Engagement

•  Engage with States and MDAs to structure bankableinfrastructure and land development transactions.
• Coordinate with developers and technical partners to align investments with housing delivery timelines

Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor financial performance of land and infrastructure investments post-deployment.
• Track disbursements, repayments, and impact outcomes linked to serviced land delivery.
• Prepare periodic investment performance reports for management, investors, and the Board.

ESG & Social Impact Integration

• Ensure all investments align with ESG standards and social impact objectives.
• Promote inclusive, climate-resilient, and sustainable infrastructure financing models.
• Monitor environmental and social risk compliance in financed projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in finance, Infrastructure Development, Real Estate, or related field is an advantage.
• Experience in at least one closed transaction (infrastructure, real estate, or project finance) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in project finance, infrastructure investment, real estate development, or urban development projects.
