Role Summary 

We are looking for an experienced individual that is strategic, resourceful, and passionate about finance and businesses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research and using their analytical mindset to analyze, interpret and relate financial data to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes to company leadership and clientele. 

What you will do 
You will:  

• carry out research to analyze economic trends, customer demographics, market trends, industry outlooks and businesses. 

• gather data and information from different sources that are relevant to your projects, and workstreams.  

• analyze historical financial data, look for trends, and make projections and forecasts about how a company would perform. 

• document research findings, compile results from data and financial analysis into reports. 

• build financial models and carry out valuation using various methodologies. 

• liaise with clients/ manage client relationships 

• contribute to deals origination and lead projects 

• explore investment options, present risks, and opportunities. 

• provide capital raising support and prepare transaction documents. 

• design and build business intelligence solutions. 

• facilitate in-person, virtual online trainings 

• supervise the work and may assist with performance evaluation of other analysts. 

Requirements: 

• 4-5 years' experience in investment banking or consulting 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field (preferably Second class upper and above). 

• MBA/CFA/ MSc in finance is a plus. 

• Good understanding of businesses, financial statements, budgeting, financial planning, valuation, economics, and business drivers. 

• Strong leadership skills 

• Good networking skills 

• Great research and analytical skills. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 

• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 

• Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts to both finance and non-finance clients 

• Ability to work independently and remotely to drive results.  

• A high degree of initiative, motivation and, attention to details. 

Location 

We employ a hybrid style to work. You can work a few days at our office in Lagos and others remotely.
