    Senior Finance Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cash Flow Management: Understand and monitor cash flows to ensure the organization's financial stability and liquidity.
    • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
    • Financial Reporting: Present reports to Executive management on financial performance, highlighting key issues, and recommending corrective actions.
    • Financial Forecasting: Forecast expected expenses and earnings, and develop financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
    • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Utilize spreadsheets and statistical modeling software (SAP) to develop financial models, forecast financial performance, and analyze financial data.
    • Contract Management: Apply contract provisions, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement policies for contract compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
    • Financial Modeling and Mathematics: Apply advanced mathematical techniques to develop financial models, analyze financial data, and optimize financial performance.
    • Financial Systems Security: Maintain the security of financial management systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of financial data.
    • Contract Oversight: Oversee government and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
    • Third-Party Reporting: Adhere to third-party reporting procedures, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reports to external stakeholders.
    • Debt Management: Manage company debt, developing strategies to optimize debt structure, reduce debt costs, and minimize financial risk

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
    • A master’s degree or professional certifications e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CFA are highly preferred
    • 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, corporate finance, and risk management.
    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
