Preparation of annual fiscal budgets, internal controls, audit, tax returns/Compliance, inventory, payroll, receivables, payables, cash flow management to ensure smooth implementation of projects and operations.
Consolidation of accounting information. Account reconciliations. Prepares financial monthly reports and management reports.
Grant management and compliance. Plan and implement systems for financial operations in accordance with the donor regulations. Ensure compliance with donor policies and procedures.
Supervises and trains finance staff.
Preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining tax records, and providing tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Leads and supervises the finance and accounting teams.
Fosters a culture of accountability and financial discipline.
Works with other departments to achieve the overall objectives of the organisation.
Education and Experience
A degree in accounting and finance is required
Minimum of 4 years of professional working experience.
Working knowledge of Peachtree.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ICAN is required.
Applicants residing within the mainland axis and environs are preferred.
