Senior Associate Consultant – Accounting, Audit and Tax at Lefort Consulting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards
• Conduct audits and reviews of internal control processes and systems
• Lead and participate in audit, review, and consulting services, working independently and guiding junior staff
• Foster strong relationships with clients to drive satisfaction and growth
• Deliver tax compliance and advisory services, including planning and implementation strategies
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, ensuring quality and timely delivery of client projects
• Stay up-to-date with Nigeria\'s tax laws and international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS)

Key skills and qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft packages
• Minimum of 4 years (post-graduation/qualification) related experience in a consulting firm
• ACA/ACCA qualification is a plus
• Self-starter with minimal need for supervision
• Robust working knowledge of Nigeria\'s Tax laws is important.
• Familiarization with IASs/IFRSs very important
• Good team player
• Candidate must be based in Abuja.
