Senior Accountant at Alister Greene Consulting

Our client, a rising force in the Computer Systems Design and Related Services Industry is looking to fill the position of Senior Accountant.

JOB SUMMARY & PURPOSE
To Increase business efficiency through cost analysis and pricing, coordinate and integrate business functions to ensure rationality and financial viability of business long term strategies, provide timely reports on the financial position and financial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
• Reconcile accounts promptly
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of five years of experience
• BSc. in Accounting
• ACA or ACCA would be an added advantage
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, technical, IT, and numerical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Ability to develop and implement accounting systems
• Solid understanding of financial statistics and Accounting Principles
