    Operation and Risk Manager

    Role Overview:

    The Operations & Risk Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all operational activities of the company, while embedding strong operational risk controls. The role combines day-to-day execution with managerial oversight to ensure efficient processes, staff supervision, documentation integrity, and compliance with internal controls.

    Key Responsibilities – Operations Management 

    • Lead and manage all operational activities of the finance company
    •  Supervise operations staff and assign duties appropriately 
    • Design, implement, and enforce operational processes and workflows
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan documentation, disbursements, and repayments 
    • Maintain proper custody and control of security and loan documents Coordinate operational support for credit, treasury, and business teams 
    • Oversee office administration, vendors, facilities, and logistics Key Responsibilities – Operational Risk & Control 
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across all processes 
    • Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and checklists 
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and approval limits 
    • Monitor compliance with operational and documentation standards 
    • Support internal and external audits and regulatory reviews 
    • Escalate control breaches, incidents, and process failures to management

     Educational Qualification 

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related field 

    Experience Requirements 

    • 6–10 years’ experience in operations within a financial institution 
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role 
    • Prior exposure to operational risk or control functions is an advantage
