    Secretary

    Job Summary

    • As secretary, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Academy's front desk.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Greeting Visitors: Welcoming students, parents, and visitors, and directing them to the appropriate areas of the school.
    • Managing Phone Calls and Emails: Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to the relevant staff members.
    • Administrative Tasks: Performing tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and maintaining accurate records.
    • Student Attendance: Monitoring student attendance, maintaining attendance logs, and contacting parents of absent students.
    • Scheduling Appointments: Coordinating meetings and appointments for school staff and administration.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Event Planning: Assisting with planning and executing school events, such as parent-teacher conferences and graduation ceremonies.
    • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate student records, including attendance records, enrollment forms, and other important documentation.
    • Emergency Response: Following emergency protocols, contacting emergency services, and providing necessary information.

    Requirements

    • Presentable and smart-looking female
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in as a secretary or administrative support role, preferably in an educational setting and must not be a mature female.
    • Customer Service Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor, ability to handle inquiries and complaints
    • Must reside within Agege, Fagba, Ogbaand its environs.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and school management software
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
