    Sales Representative – Import & Export Logistics, Trucking & Freight Forwarding

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish and sell trucking and freight forwarding services to customers by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
    • Develop and execute strategic marketing and sales plans to attract new clients while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
    • Manage key customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and addressing customer issues with swift resolutions.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
    • Prepare detailed sales forecasting reports and track sales outcomes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
    • Collaborate with other sales team members and management to develop sales strategies and improve sales performance.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities.
    • Attend trade shows, industry events to represent the company and promote services.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Analytical skills to interpret market data and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Communication and interpersonal skills capable of effectively negotiating and building lasting relationships.
    • Track record of achieving sales targets in a logistics or freight forwarding environment.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and requirements and recommend suitable logistics solutions.
    • Leadership qualities with the ability to drive both strategy and execution.
    • Ability to meet sales targets and achieve sales goals.
    • Good customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members and management.
    • Willingness to travel and attend industry events

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Mandatory experience (i.e. minimum of 5 years) in sales and should have an in-depth knowledge of Logistics Sales and Freight Forwarding.
    • Strong understanding of import/export operations and transportation services
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
