    Sales Representative

    Job Description

    • To prioritize quality customer service above all other tasks.
    • Passion about fashion.
    • Motivated to ensure customers are well dressed.
    • Welcome customers in a pleasant manner and maintain a polite and friendly attitude always.
    • Advise, cross-sell and offer the customer suggestions on styles and combinations, according to their present needs, occasion or budget.
    • Have a solid understanding of the product i.e prices, style, fabric, wash and care instructions, in order to be able to advise the customer in the best possible way.
    • Be willing to attend to/resolve any customer doubt or query and offer services according to their needs; exchanges, reservations, gift vouchers etc.
    • Build positive business relationships with customers and maintain their loyalty to ensure future sales.
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and promote teamwork.
    • Be aware of his/her own sales performance and the store’s sales figures.
    • To be familiar with sales indicators (i.e ratios, sales per hour) and actions required to improve them.
    • To be conversant with the sales performance of products available e.g. best sellers, sales by family etc
    • Ensure that the store is always clean and tidy.
    • Check all items displayed on the shop floor are well steamed, alarmed and in good condition.
    • To make sure that store furniture is continuously replenished and display garments according to the store merchandising standards.
    • Possess a good knowledge of store display standards and be interested in-store merchandising
    • Keep up to date on trends, fashion and the collections of other relevant brands.
    • Be involved in the stock and the maintenance of perfect store inventory.
    • Report any incident or issue that concerns customers or colleagues to the manager.
    • Report customer feedback (comments and requests) about the product or collection to the manager.


    • Minimum of a WASC certificate and OND, HND, University graduates will receive preference.
    • Friendly, helpful and outgoing personality type.
    • Should be able to express themselves clearly in English when giving advice to customers.
    • Should be neat and tidy, and present a pleasant appearance.
    • Patient and tolerant with customers
    • A good memory and good health are also important.
