Sales Representative - FMCG at Assist to Hire Limited

Industry: Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
Compensation: 200,000 to 300,000 net plus commissions

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sales Rep to drive sales and distribution of products across assigned territories. The ideal candidate will visit retail outlets daily, place orders, build strong customer relationships, and ensure product availability in stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail outlets and wholesalers on a daily sales route.
• Promote and sell company products to retailers.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Ensure product availability and visibility across outlets.
• Identify and onboard new retail outlets within assigned territories.
• Maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Monitor stock levels at customer locations and encourage timely replenishment.
• Provide feedback on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in FMCG distribution or retail sales.
• Good knowledge of Lagos retail markets.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets and manage assigned routes.
• Previous route sales experience is an advantage.
