The SNA is the technical and commercial leader of his or her territory and is fully responsible for driving the hybridization agenda largely from a commercial and advisory role achievements of the territory sales target; profitability, Coverage and overall entrenchment of the Company's Value.
He is responsible for Planning, Execution, Monitoring and management of the business which include but not limited to Sales Target Achievement, Demo plan, ARD management Profitability/Productivity, Risk, Compliance, Materials and Customers management.
Responsibilities
Oversee the achievement of the Territory Sales Target.
Maintain a track record of Territory performance on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
Maintain stock availability by making product requests in line with targets.
Ensure KYCs are completed for all ARDs.
Ensure brand visibility at ARDs’ outlets in line with the Share of Shelf objective.
Drive compliance with the Credit Policy and ensure all credits are received as and when due.
Visit ARDs and engage with them as the voice of management.
Conduct market surveys across the territory of operation and share feedback monthly.
Monitor, track, and report customer performance and trends for management advice.
Manage and supervise demo plots.
Organize field days and recruit new ARDs.
Ensure customers are effectively covered and served, and conduct monthly field accompaniments with the ASL.
Uphold SeedCo values within the territory of operations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct weekly reviews of the territory with the ASL.
Document all incidents and follow each to a logical conclusion (including police reports, where applicable).
Ensure the territory pays all lawful statutory dues and complies with regulatory authorities.
Prepare, report, and present sales reports daily, weekly, monthly, or as requested.
Collaborate with the storekeeper to report monthly germination tests and ensure only quality seeds are sold.
Investigate all quality-related issues and share reports with the Channel Manager and Quality Assurance Lead.
Ensure that the quality of stock to be withdrawn aligns with the withdrawal guidelines.
Manage credit effectively.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Channel Manager or other team leads.
Requirements
BSc Degree in Agriculture or other related fields.
