    Sales Logistics Officer

    Job Summary

    • The primary function of the logistics sales position is to sell customer freight solutions.
    • The role ensures a high volume of customer interactions, encompassing prospecting, cold-calling, and closing deals; customer service and account management.
    • We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Logistics Sales Executive experience, outstanding customer service skill, passion for technology, new systems, and innovative business solutions in a variety of settings and inceptions.
    • We value Sales Executives who are passionate about growing existing accounts while proactively pursuing new accounts and identifying roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business. The ideal fit will be innovative enough to suggest tailored solutions to common account problems.
    • Dedication to growing the business and facilitating smoother connections between our clients and our internal customer support team is a must.
    • As you meet with clients and prospects, it will be your responsibility to not only shine light on a prospect’s supply chain inefficiencies and offer catered business solutions, but to also represent our company in a professional manner that will highlight our company values.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective or current clients
    • Prospect for leads and perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses
    • Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships
    • Meeting or Exceeding sales goals
    • Negotiating contracts with potential clients
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports based on the assigned tasks and duties
    • Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
    • Co-ordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
    • come up with innovative ideas stemmed from significant behavioural patterns and conversations with prospective clients
    • Understand and promote the company's ideas
    • Properly maintain client records
    • Answer client’s inquiries and direct them to the proper channel about products, prices and availability

    Job Qualifications / Skills

    • Candidate with Bachelor’s Degree to work in a logistics sales position.
    • 3 - 5 years experience in logistics, sales, or a related field required.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve.
    • Knowledge of current marketing and advertising trends and best practices.
    • Proficient in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office and Excel.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
    • Possess a strong track record for delivering successful sales experience in personal selling, telephone sales, and customer service.
    • Knowledge: Transportation brokerage/sales experience, marketing multipart logistical solutions to a wide range of clients.
    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
    • Demonstrable business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes.
