    Corporate Fund Raiser

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking for seasoned fundraisers who will use their expert communication skills and keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, and manage fundraising campaigns.
    • By coordinating events, writing proposals, and recruiting and leading volunteers, your team will hone their speaking, writing, and leadership abilities while moving Compugeen Africa closer to its financial goals.
    • The ideal candidates will be motivated, professional, and organized, with a knack for research.
    • We are looking for a team who believes in Compugeen Africa mission and will demonstrate exceptional drive to further our existing fundraising efforts and help strategize and deliver new ones.

    Objectives of this Role

    • Promote awareness of the organization’s mission and work
    • Cultivate a network of dedicated donors and volunteers
    • Spot new fundraising opportunities
    • Plan fundraising initiatives to help the organization meet financial goals

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Research individuals, corporations, and foundations that may be interested in gift-giving
    • Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors
    • Craft grant applications and fundraising proposals
    • Strategize and successfully execute fundraising campaigns
    • Organize fundraising events while overseeing teams of volunteers
    • Manage a budget and track whether goals are being met

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • Certificate in Fundraising, Diploma in Fundraising, or similar qualification.
    • Competence in Microsoft Office suite and donor management systems.
    • Experience writing grant proposals, press releases, and/or fundraising letters.
    • Confidence with public speaking.
    • Legal or accounting experience a plus.

    Job Requirements:

    • A minimum of three (3) years fundraising, sales, or marketing experience.

    • Ability to lead and motivate colleagues and volunteers.

    Customer Service Officer

    Job Summary

    • As Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for interacting with our customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about our products and services within planned timelines, scope and with high quality.
    • You will also be responsible for resolving possible issues our customers may face while using our using our products or services.

    • Call/contact center experience will be a strong advantage.

    • 3 - 5 years experience in logistics, sales, or a related field required.

    • Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve.
    • Knowledge of current marketing and advertising trends and best practices.
    • Proficient in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office and Excel.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
    • Possess a strong track record for delivering successful sales experience in personal selling, telephone sales, and customer service.
    • Knowledge: Transportation brokerage/sales experience, marketing multipart logistical solutions to a wide range of clients.
