    Sales Executive (Building Materials / Construction)

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a driven, hunter-type Sales Representative to join a leading European multinational specializing in sealants, adhesives, PU foams, and technical sprays.
    • The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about winning new business directly from construction companies and contractors.
    • This role is 100% sales-focused and involves regular visits to construction sites, requiring both commercial drive and a basic technical understanding of building materials.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Actively prospect and develop new business with construction companies, contractors, and installers
    • Visit construction sites frequently to identify opportunities and engage with site engineers, foremen, and project managers
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat sales
    • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
    • Provide product demonstrations and basic technical support on-site when required
    • Gather and report market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and project activities
    • Prepare regular sales activity reports and forecasts.

    Requirements

    • 3 years of proven sales experience in the building materials sector (e.g., sealants, sanitary, electrical, hardware, or contracting materials)
    • Established network or experience selling to construction companies and contractors
    • Strong hunter mentality, proactive, target-oriented, and persistent in closing deals
    • Excellent spoken English, with strong communication skills to interact confidently with diverse clients, including Indian and Lebanese stakeholders
    • Based in Lagos, with willingness to travel and visit sites across regions.
