We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join the retail team. In this role, you will serve as the face of the brand, delivering outstanding in-store experiences and assisting customers with their purchase decisions. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth sales operations from greeting customers to completing transactions. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about children’s fashion, providing excellent customer service, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and assist customers in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner.
Guide customers in selecting products, sizes, and styles that meet their needs.
Clearly communicate product availability, promotions, and brand stories.
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
Promote new arrivals, seasonal sales, and special offers.
Upsell and cross-sell complementary items to enhance customer value.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing store environment always.
Participate in promotional activities outside the store, including flyer distribution and local marketing.
Ensure product displays are attractive and merchandise is well-stocked.
Requirements
WHAT TO HAVE
Minimum of WAEC/NECO certificate or equivalent
0–1 year of experience in retail or customer service (advantageous)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for fashion, particularly children’s wear, and commitment to retail excellence
High level of reliability, integrity, and professionalism
