Risk & Loss Prevention Engineer / Specialist II at Habrams Energy

• We are seeking a Risk & Loss Prevention Engineer / Specialist II to support the safe and effective execution of engineering and design activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide technical input on discipline engineering work performed by internal teams, Contractors, and Sub-contractors.
• Support the effective execution of engineering and design activities in alignment with project goals, objectives, and procedures.
• Participate in or lead risk studies and consequence analyses, including toxic gas dispersion modelling.
• Develop, review, and update safety standards, instructions, and codes as required.
• Support the formalization of safety requirements into documented company practices.
• Facilitate effective communication of engineering activities, progress, and issues across the Project Team and relevant company functions.
• Apply sound technical, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to support project execution.

Requirements

• Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS).
• Previous experience in Loss Prevention.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Broad and extensive knowledge of relevant engineering design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
• Experience participating in or leading risk studies and consequence analysis is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English, with strong technical and business communication skills.
