    BIS is a multi-national, co-educational school offering a British style curriculum to students aged between 11 and 18 years. It serves both the Nigerian local community and expatriates looking for a British education within an international setting.

     

    Residential Head Nurse

    Responsibilities

    • Provide a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures. 
    • Ensure that all nurses operate properly in a medical setting.
    • Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.
    • Update students' medical history.
    • Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
    • Communicate with HMO and other healthcare to ensure patient care. •Provide hands-on health care for students during school trips and exhibitions (within or outside the country if need be).
    • Will be required to live within the school premises.

    Requirements

    • Minimum age of 45 years, with 15 years experience as a school nurse or currently working as a hospital matron.
