Job Summary

The Shortlets / Apartments Manager will be responsible for the overall management, operational efficiency, profitability, service quality, and guest experience at Denam Shortlets Apartments. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Facility Management, Security, and other support functions.
The Manager will ensure the property consistently delivers exceptional hospitality experiences while achieving occupancy, revenue, cost-control, and operational performance targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the daily operations of the apartments. 
• Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, profitability, and guest retention. 
• Coordinate all departments to ensure seamless service delivery. 
• Monitor daily reservations, arrivals, departures, occupancy levels, and guest requirements. 
• Ensure rooms and facilities meet established quality standards. 
• Monitor revenue, operating expenses, procurement, and departmental budgets. 
• Review guest feedback and ensure complaints are resolved promptly. 
• Lead regular operational and departmental meetings. 
• Ensure staff comply with company policies, SOPs, grooming standards, and service expectations. 
• Work with Marketing to develop promotional packages and revenue-generating initiatives. 
• Supervise inventory management and ensure company assets are properly maintained. 
• Review operational reports and provide weekly/monthly performance reports to management. 
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements. 
• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective actions. 

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, preferably in hospitality, hotels, serviced apartments, or short-let operations. 
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
